Each LC2000 series Linux laptop comes with a standard one year warranty. This warranty
includes the hardware and device drivers related issues (directly related to the hardware shipped by LinuxCertified). Customers
pay for shipping costs to LinuxCertified depot. We pay return shipping costs (UPS or FedEx Ground).
Warranty Extension: You can extend the warranty on your laptop at the time of purchase to a maximum of
three years. Note that the
laptop battery is not covered under extended warranty.
Software
Configuration Support: Configuration of your system in your
environment is not covered under Warranty plans. If you are relatively
new to Linux, please consider buying our Software Configuration Support
package. This package is $250 (for up to six months of configuration
support). You can get further support on an hourly basis.
Premium Warranty
Upgrade: If your laptop is going to be used for mission-critical
purposes, consider upgrading your warranty to Premium level, which
provides you following benefits:

resolution of issues
By Air return shipment
(2nd day delivery)
Platinum Service Upgrade: Offered
in select geographies.
On-site service (includes
pick-up and delivery) - A technician will be sent to the location of
the laptop to fix any hardware or device driver related issue.
Two day (work week)
response time - A technician will work on the faulty system within two
days of notification of the fault
Advance replacement of
chassis - If laptop cannot be repaired in its current chassis in a
reasonable time, a replacement chassis will be provided (with disks
moved over from faulty chassis)
Note: As with base warranty, the upgraded services are limited to
hardware and device drivers related issues. These services does not
include applications running on the laptop.
