Linux Fundamentals
A practical and hands-on introduction to the Linux operating system,
this workshop is perfectly suited for administrators, developers
or power-users planning to use Linux in their environment.
The workshop will also be very handy for decision-makers evaluating
Linux for their IT infrastructure.
The labs and concepts are independent of a particular distribution of
Linux, and apply to other flavors of UNIX as well. We use
a recent Linux distribution for all labs.

Prerequisites:
This two-day long hands-on
course for busy professionals assumes little to no understanding
of UNIX. Having working knowledge of any computer system,
e.g. a Windows based PC, would suffice. Most of all you will
need a motivation to aggressively learn, while having fun,
during the class. If you have any questions about the difficulty

Specifications for the
laptop
Students will receive a Linux study guide carefully developed
by LinuxCertified instructors.
To enroll in Linux Fundamentals class, please print, fill and send in
your enrollment form
FEE : $1299 (includes all
class materials and Linux laptop.) This class is also available
without the option of the laptop for $700. (Regardless of
which option you pick, you will be provided with a Linux laptop
for the duration of the class.)
